Interesting facts about me

Recently married, and very happy. My husband and I live in New Orleans. I run a yoga studio that we own, and he works in computers. We practice yoga a lot, and we love to go to theater, gamble a little, drink wine and be with friends and family.

I enjoy reading quite a bit. I like the Stephanie Plum novels, and Nora Roberts a lot. I also really liked the Stephen King Dark Tower novels, Harry Potter and CS Lewis. I like TV - even trashy television, like "I Love New York". Family Guy will always make me laugh nonstop, and I enjoy its ability to laugh at ourselves. I like Heroes (kind of), and Lost. But still believe Buffy the Vampire Slayer was the best show on tv.

I believe in God. I believe Jesus Christ was His son. I have trouble supporting a lot of the rest, but I'm working on that side of me. In the meantime, I focus on being a good person here and now, and showing love to my God, my family, and my friends and compassion and caring to everyone I meet.

I want to judge less. I want to care more. I want to keep an open mind and heart ... and learn all that I can. And one day, I want to teach my children to do the same.
